Wentworthville Anglican Church - Kids and Youth

Our youth and children's programs run every Sunday morning during the 10am meeting.

If you have a baby or toddler, a creche operates at the 10am meeting. Our trained creche supervisors will look after your child, and parents are welcome to stay.

A parent's room is available during all meetings, where you can hear the church meeting. This is suitable for feeding or changing babies, or if you just need some privacy. Please feel free to use this room at any time.

All youth and children's leaders have completed ministry training modules and undergo NSW working with children checks.

Kids for Jesus

Kid's for Jesus operates during the 10am meeting on Sundays. Everyone meets together for the first 20 minutes of the meeting, which includes the Kid's Spot. Following this the kids and youth go to their own programmes.

We have two groups at Wenty, Junior Kids for Jesus (school years K-3) and Senior Kids for Jesus (school years 4-6).

Each week both groups spend time hearing from and looking at the Bible in fun ways. Kids are encouraged to ask questions and explore God's Word for themselves; no question is a silly question. Leaders are sensitive to the variety of challenges faced by 21st century kids, and see each child as unique and made in the image of God. Regular activities include Bible stories and studies, praying, singing, games, and craft.

Special holiday activities are supplied Sunday mornings during the school holidays, as well as Christmas and Easter.

Youth - ROCK

ROCK (Reaching Out for Christ's Kingdom) meets on Fridays during school term time from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. For young people in high school (school years 7-12).

Young people are encouraged to attend our 10am church meeting.
